Seafood Masterclass

Hospitality & Catering students from Accrington and Rossendale College were treated to a seafood masterclass when Adrian Ogdem, Managing Director of AO Seafood Ltd. visited the College’s new multi-million pound Heartwood Centre.

The Burnley based company, which has been supplying restaurants and hotels in the region with some of the finest fresh fish since 1947, came into the College’s Roots Restaurant and gave an insight into the methods and techniques used when filleting fish. Adrian commented,

“It’s been a great pleasure being able to work with these young and enthusiastic chefs. Being able to deliver a masterclass on fish has been a great experience for both the College and us.”
