Tom Bridge visits AccRoss College to help celebrate National Pie Week
A master chef who has cooked for some of the most famous people to ever grace the Earth, including the likes of Frank Sinatra and the Queen, today came to Accrington and Rossendale College’s multi-million pound Heartwood Centre and Roots Restaurant to celebrate National Pie Week with the Colleges Hospitality & Catering Department.
Tom, who has published 23 cookery books including the Pie Society and has worked with nearly every celebrity chef their is, gave an in depth talk to our students that covered his career in and out the kitchen which started from the age of six.
Throughout the talk, both staff and students were eager to ask Tom questions based on his career exploits with Tom obliging. Everyone was left feeling inspired by such a jam-packed and fantastic career.
